Welcome

The Kensington Lions Club welcomes members of the media, photographers, videographers, and content creators to cover the 50th Annual High School All-Star Games.

Our goal is to provide outstanding access while maintaining a safe environment for our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. We appreciate your professionalism and cooperation.

Credential Requirements

All media representatives must:

• Wear an official Kensington Lions Media Credential at all times.
• Check in at the Media Credential Table upon arrival.
• Present professional identification if requested.
• Follow directions from Event Staff, Security Personnel, and Game Management.
• Remember that credentials are non-transferable.

Field Access

Approved media members may photograph or film from:

• Behind both end zones
• Along each sideline outside the coaching box
• Designated media areas

Approved media access also includes:

• Pregame warmups
• Coin toss
• Trophy presentations
• Postgame celebrations

Media personnel are not permitted inside team bench areas or the coaches’ box.

Restricted Areas

The following areas are off-limits without prior approval:

• Team locker rooms
• Athletic training areas
• Officials’ locker room
• Scorer’s table
• Team meeting areas
• Coaches’ sideline huddles
• Player medical treatment areas

Sideline Safety

For the safety of everyone involved:

• Remain at least six feet behind the sideline whenever possible.
• Stay alert and keep your head up during live play.
• Never interfere with players, coaches, officials, the chain crew, or game personnel.
• Do not enter the field of play during live action.
• Follow all instructions from game officials and event staff immediately.

Safety always takes priority over obtaining a photograph.

Photography Guidelines

We encourage photographers to capture:

• Game action
• Player celebrations
• Coaches
• Cheerleaders
• Fans
• Community engagement
• Trophy presentations
• Sportsmanship moments
• Volunteer service
• Sponsor recognition

Please be respectful when photographing injured athletes or medical situations.

Drone Policy

Personal drones are not permitted without prior written approval from the Kensington Lions Club and Orchard Park High School.

Unauthorized drone operation may result in removal from the event.

Live Streaming & Broadcasting

Approved broadcast outlets should coordinate with Event Operations before arriving.

Livestream crews will receive designated camera positions. Media members may post photographs and short highlight clips on social media throughout the event.

Interviews

Postgame interviews should be conducted only after:

• Teams have exited the field.
• Coaches have completed their postgame responsibilities.
• Players have been released by their coaching staff.

Please respect athletes who decline interview requests.

Social Media

When sharing event coverage, please use the official event hashtag:

We encourage the sharing of:

• Behind-the-scenes content
• Community moments
• Sportsmanship highlights
• Volunteer recognition
• Sponsor appreciation

Professional Conduct

All credentialed media representatives are expected to:

• Demonstrate professionalism.
• Treat athletes respectfully.
• Avoid confrontations with officials, coaches, or spectators.
• Refrain from profanity or disruptive behavior.
• Follow NFHS sportsmanship standards.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the removal of media credentials.

Emergency Procedures

In the event of severe weather, a medical emergency, or a security incident:

• Follow directions from Event Management immediately.
• Do not obstruct emergency personnel.
• Remain clear of designated evacuation routes.
